Electrical Transmission and Distribution Construction and Maintenance Company Limited (ETDCO Limited) is a subsidiary company of The Tanzania Electric Supply Company (TANESCO) established in June 2016 under Companies Act, Act No 12 of 2002 and came into operation in January 2017. The company is mandated to undertake business of Construction and Maintenance of Electricity infrastructure within the Country and beyond. The Company is a Registered by the Registration Board (CRB) as Class One Contractor.

Driver – 15 Position

In order to reach its goals, the Company intends to invest in its business, systems and Human Capital. ETDCO Limited now invites applicants who are self-motivated, pro-active, honest, hardworking and committed individuals to fill in vacant positions for drivers in accordance with the detailed requirements narrated in the table hereunder:

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure optimum vehicle availability for company business operations (performance will be based on vehicle availability index)
2. Record routes log book for keeping of vehicle fuel utilization history and ensure passenger verification of route covered.
3. Follow up on repair and maintenance of vehicles at assigned garages by TEMESA 
4. Drive Company vehicles with required professionalism for maximum road safety and to ensure vehicle is not incurring damages to its parts through high diligence
5. Maintain Vehicle cleanliness and observe staff safety.

EDUCATION LEVEL 

• Holder of Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE) 
• A valid Driving License Class CI,C2,C3, and E 
• Certificate of Driving competence from NIT/VETA

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Three years’ experience of driving experience without causing any accident.
• Those who have worked in project works will have an added advantage
• Certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanics Trade Test (added advantage).
